3. Donations

3.1 General

All donations made through sadaqah.uk are voluntary and are used to support charitable activities and projects managed or approved by IFCED.

By making a donation, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian
The funds being donated are legally yours
You are not making the donation on behalf of a prohibited or sanctioned entity
3.2 Donation Allocation

While we aim to allocate donations according to donor intent (e.g. Sadaqah, Zakat, Qurbani, education, food aid), IFCED reserves the right to redirect funds to similar or most-needed projects if:

A specific project is oversubscribed or completed
Local conditions make implementation impractical
Regulatory or safety concerns arise

Any redirection will always remain within Islamic and charitable principles and the overall mission of IFCED.

3.3 Refunds

Donations are generally non-refundable. Refund requests may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, such as:

Duplicate transactions
Clear technical errors

Requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the donation date.

4. Zakat, Sadaqah & Religious Giving

IFCED takes reasonable steps to ensure that Zakat and other religious donations are distributed in accordance with Islamic principles.

However:

Final responsibility for the intention (niyyah) of a donation rests with the donor
Differences of scholarly opinion may exist regarding eligibility and distribution

IFCED does not accept liability for differing personal interpretations of religious rulings.

5. Gift Aid (UK Donors)

If you choose to add Gift Aid to your donation, you confirm that:

You are a UK taxpayer
You have paid or will pay sufficient Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax to cover the amount reclaimed

You are responsible for informing us if your tax circumstances change.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including text, images, videos, logos, and design elements, is the property of IFCED or its content partners, unless otherwise stated.

You may:
